Which image formats does the tool support?

You can open PNG, JPG and WebP files and export the finished image as PNG, JPG or WebP.

Is the original resolution preserved?

Yes. The preview is scaled for the screen, while the download is rendered at the image's original dimensions.

Are images or settings stored?

The editor stores no images or file names. Without optional compression, images stay in browser memory. Settings are written to local browser storage only after actively enabling “Remember settings” and can be deleted at any time.

FAQ

Is my image uploaded?

By default, the entire editor runs locally. If you enable “Automatic compression,” only the already labeled result is sent via HTTPS to the existing Image Compressor workflow. The original image stays local.

Which formats can I use?

PNG, JPG and WebP work as inputs. For downloads, you can choose PNG, JPG or WebP independently of the input format.

Does exporting change my image size?

No. Only the on-screen preview is scaled down. The download uses the full width and height of the original image.

Are my images or settings stored?

The editor stores neither images nor file names. Without optional compression, images stay only in browser memory and are discarded when removed or when the page is closed. The compression workflow processes only the already labeled result temporarily. Settings are stored locally only after active opt-in and can be deleted directly below the option.
